TATAL Online: Teens at the Arlington Library: Jon Skovron Talks to us about World-Building, Monsters and Hearing from Teens
One of my favorite librarians, Nico Piro, interviews me over at the Arlington Public Library Blog. We talked about world-building, monsters, Man Made Boy, a little about what to expect in the sequel, and a bunch of other stuff.
She’s one of my favorite librarians too!
And I think I speak for all of us when I say:

Just a friendly reminder that shit happens. And that’s okay.

Thank goodness there is still one more teenwolf friendship brunch to look forward to in 2013!
Teen Wolf Friendship Brunch is number 2 on my top ten things I’ll miss about living here.
Anonymous asked: How much would it be to get something custom made? I would like to maybe get one of the beaded circle things with a quote that is really special to me and a friend on it....
Hi! Thanks for asking, that sounds like a really special piece, and I’m honored you think I can do it justice.
Prices for custom work depend on how large the piece in question is, how long it would take me to make and the materials involved. The best way to go about it would be to visit my etsy shop and open a conversation with me there with a few more specifics. I can do a quick design draft and we can agree on a reasonable price. Embroidery pieces usually run between $25 and $40.
(Also, I don’t use beads. I think what you’re seeing is the french knots, an embroidery stitch that’s basically tying a bunch of really small knots with your thread.)
Hope this helps!
Happy Cyber Monday. Today use the coupon code CYBERM in my etsy shop, Yadykates, for 5 dollars off any purchase over $20.00!
It’s the perfect time to pick up that piece on punctuation you’ve had your eye on, browse around for something new, or ask about a custom order!
"Holding Eleanor’s hand was like holding a butterfly. Or a heartbeat. Like holding something complete, and completely alive."
This is the scene where I missed my metro stop in order to keep reading.
I love it when I get a whole bunch of new notifications on something I posted months ago. I always think “Oh, somebody just finished Eleanor and Park and had the exact same feelings that I did.” And that kind of community is nice, y’know?
